YOUR EDITOR, A LITTLE MORE CONNECTED

From a good idea to your editor.

Use the official shadcn MCP server to connect your supported AI editor to a registry. DesignMyUI serves real free component files through a shadcn-compatible registry.

1. Configure Claude Code

npx shadcn@latest mcp init --client claude

Restart your editor if required. For Cursor, VS Code, and other supported clients, follow the official shadcn MCP documentation.

2. Add the DesignMyUI registry

{
  "registries": {
    "@designmyui": "https://designmyui.dev/r/{name}.json"
  }
}

Merge this registry entry into your project's existing components.json; preserve the other shadcn configuration fields.

3. Ask your editor

Ask it to install @designmyui/aurora-button into your project. Confirm the proposed changes in your editor. The same free source is available directly through the CLI and ZIP download.

MCP requires configuration in your own editor. Opening this website does not automatically connect your tools or install code.
